BTW, I don't know if this is intentional or not, but you can get rid of enemies by entering a new screen, and then leaving it. That trick worked in many NES era games, so... pretty cool nonetheless lol
Franco Fox in Fairyland DEMO Neat little game! There's one little issue though, the projectiles.
I think that you should limit them to a maximum of 3 per screen, I was able to win fairly quickly by just spamming the use key...
(btw, Shiru is involved in this? He makes some great homebrews)

I had considered limiting projectiles but I personally thought it was more fun with them being unlimited. I do need to try to tune the difficulty of the game more, and in future development I need to decide whether to limit projectiles, or to design the levels with more platforming obstacles to make it more difficult to keep your power-ups.
I used music/sound effects by shiru8bit from Opengameart.org that were free to use under Creative Commons. I haven't had any contact with him and he wasn't involved in the development of this demo.
